Healthcare Pt. 2

Okay, so my earlier post was my upset side. But in all honesty, what we witnessed in the Supreme Court decision yesterday was a beautiful display of democracy. As Chief Justice Roberts said during his confirmation hearing, "I'm here to call balls and strikes, not pitch or bat." Chief Justice Roberts did what he thought was most consistent with the Constitution and no one can fault him for that. He rose above politics when many critics believed that the Court was becoming increasingly political and polarizing. Hopefully, this decision will once again demonstrate to the American people that the Supreme Court should indeed be considered as the supreme say to the Constitutionality of a law. As conservatives, we should respect the process which the Constitution has set forth for us. As citizens, however, it's imperative that we work to repeal this bad policy. How do we do this? We go and work our tails off for every conservative candidate from here until November 6th. That's how our Founding Father's intended for us to operate. It's important for us to keep control of the House and to gain control of the Senate so that we can control the legislative process. But we also need to work to ensure that Barack Obama and his liberal policies only get 4 years at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. So trust me when I tell you, we'll still be getting full repeal of Obamacare. It's not time to get mad, it's time to get behind our Republican candidates and work harder than ever. For perhaps the first time ever, we're validated when we say, "this is the most important election in history".

Healthcare Pt. 1

What can I say? I'm a pissed off Republican. You don't have to tell me things are bad, I know they're bad. It's obvious that Obama has to go. Not only is Obamacare unconstitutional under the Commerce Clause, it's a massive tax that will cripple those in the middle class. Especially while we're suffering from the Obama Recession. It's time to act. It's time to start knocking on doors. It's time to start making phone calls. It's time to support Mitt Romney and Josh Mandel here in Ohio. I'm not going to let the federal government walk all over me. I'm a human being. I'm going to work my rear off from now until Election Day to take our country back. I have to. We all have to. The next four years of an Obama presidency will be much, much worse than the first four. And I can tell you one thing, I'm mad as hell... and I'm not going to take it anymore. Now who's with me?

Back and Ready to Go

I know that I took a break after only 2 posts. But the political atmosphere is once again heating up and now I'm ready to go again. So tonight (maybe tomorrow) will be a 2 part post about the Health Care ruling, with Operation Fast and Furious coming next. And then, a whole list of things that have been boiling under my skin. Hope you enjoy as this 21st Century Republican is back!
